The Office Assistant will provide varied support to program staff located at the Lompoc Regional Office for the Children’s Services Program.

This position is full-time with full benefits and starts out between $17.
00 - $18.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.
*Responds to in-person/telephone inquiries to accurately provide program information.
*Assists in set up and cleanup for office meetings and training sessions.
*Cleans and keep operative office machines in the copy room.
*Performs clerical task such as photocopying filing as requested by Program staff.
*Assist in development of flyer and outreach material.
*Process incoming and outgoing mail.
*General office tasks such as typing, filing, and copying.
*Greeting clients, public, and staff with information & direction as needed.
*Assists in maintaining training resource supplies.
*Help maintain office supplies.
*Help maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records of files.
*Help maintain office site in a neat, safe condition to positively represent agency.
*Responds to all tasks assigned in a timely manner, as directed
*Data entry and database management.
*Enters program information into computer.
*Assists in writing and submitting program reports.
*Tracking program fiscal needs.
*Presents an excellent professional public image.
*Performs comparable duties as assigned by Program Director or Manager
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years administrative experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current valid California Driver's License with ability to qualify for coverage under Agency insurance plan.
Other Skills and Abilities: Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
