We are looking for another dedicated person to join us.
We have an immediate opening for a full time Purchasing Administration Agent.

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for developing and implementing cost savings strategies for the Distributed Purchasing team.
Will also assist with needs for Raw Material Purchasing as needed.
Other essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manages supplier relations and negotiates contracts, prices, timelines, onboarding suppliers, etc.
• Supports the identification and qualification of new suppliers for new product sourcing for a variety of critical commodities.
• Develop, lead, and implement business cost reduction strategies through sourcing and other avenues to improve organizational cost position without sacrificing quality.
• Evaluate, coordinate, and support sourcing opportunities in the US and low-cost regions.
• Challenge existing suppliers to recommend more cost-effective and/or more reliable products that will improve our competitive position.
Assist in the evaluation and coordination of these recommendations.
Education and Experience preferred:
• Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field
• Minimum three years’ experience in purchasing/supply chain
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to execute tasks independently
• Computer skills including MS Office, ERP suites
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified
