We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social worker for our Intensive Services Foster Care Program in Lompoc, Santa Maria, and Nipomo area.
Interested persons must have a *master’s degree* and experience in one of the following fields:
* Social Work or Social Welfare
* Marriage, Family and Child Counseling,
* Counseling Psychology
* Clinical Psychology
* Social Psychology
* Child Psychology
* Child Development
* Educational Psychology
* Education with emphasis in Counseling
* Or other equivalent education and experience may be considered.
*Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Job description is in essence to provide trauma informed support for a small caseload of foster children who are placed into our Intensive Services Foster Care Program.
* Provides on-going support services to assist the resource family and foster youth in meeting the goals of Needs & Services plans.
* Person serves as a liaison for child and family to connect to supportive services.
* Provides necessary support to resource parents, coaching and administrative, to provide a quality resource home experience to clients.
Support includes participation in community group support activities for the resource families, and/or foster children, practicing and monitoring implementation of identified coping skills with the resource family and foster youth, monitoring implementation of the CFT action plan, assisting with in-home and if required, in-person, de-escalation.
* Person is on-call on a mutually agreed upon schedule.
* Must past a criminal background check and have reliable transportation.
Person must live with 40 minutes of Lompoc, Santa Maria, and Nipomo for emergency response.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.
