We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Clerk in Lompoc, CA.
This is a temporary position with temp to hire potential for the right fit.
The pay rate is $25 an hour with a schedule of Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Answers and directs departmental phone calls.
Receives and distributes departmental mail.
Schedules and organizes appointments and interviews.
Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department.
Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
Prepares verifications of employment.
May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
Assists with preparation and setup for employee meetings and activities, i.
e.
picnics, annual and summer meetings, occasional safety and management meetings.
Prepares purchase orders for human resource office.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of administrative experience preferred.
Minimum 3 years of customer service and professional office experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Ability to operate general office equipment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to type 60 words a minute.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Knowledge of ADP or similar HRIS.
