Duties As an Enforcement and Removal Assistant (OA), at the full performance level you will perform the following duties: Researching detainee history using multiple sources to establish identity/citizenship and manage detained and non-detained dockets.
Providing administrative support to managers, supervisors, or staff members by assisting in the day-to-day management of the office's activities.
Summarizing and tabulating detainee information from various reports, utilizing a variety of databases and automated systems.
Generating and verifying detainee reports, encounters, charging documents, studies, data quality and create and revise spreadsheets charts, graphs, and presentations.
Exercising quality control over bond paperwork.
Salary: The salary range indicated in this announcement reflects the lowest and highest potential salaries for this position.
The actual salary range will be based on the applicable locality pay for the selected duty location.

You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent performing duties that include: Provide clerical and administrative support to managers, supervisors, and staff members in a law enforcement program Establish and review case files to determine status of proceedings and taking appropriate action to close out the file or direct onward Prepare a variety of forms, notices, documents, and legal paperwork, including warrants and records of proceedings Prepare travel documents and making travel arrangements for domestic and/or international travel Integrates several types of software, such as spreadsheets, databases, and work processing to generate specific working documents and forms.
Review bond cases to determine status and identify appropriate action to continue, cancel, or breach and submit for supervisory review.
In addition to the qualification requirements above, individuals must meet the following: Typing Proficiency: Applicants must be able to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample, with 3 or fewer errors.
