GL Accountant

*Job description* The Fess Parker Winery, located in Los Olivos, Ca, is currently looking for a full-time General Ledger Accountant.
*General Ledger Accountant * Required to perform a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions with significant focus on General Ledger accounting.
This position is also responsible for supporting the Director of Finance.
This includes monthly financial accounting reconciliation and monthly financial statements for multiple companies.
*QUALIFICATIONS:* * Quickbooks accounting * Must have intermediate-advanced Excel skills * 3-5 years of Accounting/ General Ledger and Journal Entries experience.
* Previous winery experience a plus * Excellent analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems with multiple variables.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong skills in working with expenses, accounting and ability to reconcile accounts.
* Federal and multiple state reports.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in English.
* Must be a strong team player, highly motivated and able to work under pressure.
