Surface Pro 8 for Business includes cellular option, Intel i7 (11th gen), two Thunderbolt 4/USB 3.
2 connections, and Windows 11 Pro
Device is very capable of running any PC program and stand-alone accessibility.
The device comes in a 13” touchscreen.
This Surface Pro 8 device had a built in eSIM and a slot for nano SIM.
Cellular design is LTE (not 5G) which still provides very good coverage and download speeds (see pics).
Generally speaking, if you get a good signal (4G/LTE or 5G) you will get good internet results.
I live on California’s Central Coast (non-metropolitan) and had no problem getting above 40 mbps anywhere and, in a good 5G area, could get in excess of 100mbps (see range of speeds in pics).
These speeds are clearly capable of streaming TV/movie services, on-line meeting sessions (Zoom, MS Teams or other apps).
Use of cellular capability requires separate subscription/service from a cellular provider.
The device setup offers a variety of service providers; I use Verizon, but others have claimed that T-Mobile is the easiest to set up.
Unit comes with 256GB SSD, a new OEM power supply, installed screen protector, UAG case protector and Signature touchpad (for Pro 8 and 9).
A touch pen is not included.
Unit does not come with manufacturer’s box.
