We have an old, ornate dining table but no longer have space for it in our home.
It's solid wood, not particle-board junk, very detailed, and built to last.
We have owned it since we moved to the Central Coast 25 years ago, and it was quite old then, probably an antique.
It's in need of tender loving care.
The top has many superficial scratches and large blemishes (see photos), so it would need a tablecloth if used as is.
The scratches and blemishes are superficial, and someone who enjoys DIY projects could restore this table to its original beauty with a good sanding, new stain, and sealer.
I would do it myself and sell the table for substantially more, but it evokes sad memories, and I'd rather not focus on it for the two weeks I would spend restoring it.
The dimensions of the table are 29.
75" height; 42" width; 62" length, plus a 10" wide easily removable insert extends the length to a full 72".
There's lots of wood detailing around the edges of the table, and the legs are ornate.
The table is currently assembled.
If moved as is, you'll need a pickup truck.
I'll be happy to disassemble it before you pick it up, and then you'll be able to move it in a mid-size SUV.
Reassembly is easy and just requires reinstalling six screws on each end.
We are asking $50 for the table as is.
It is in our living room ready to pick up any afternoon or evening (the cat in the photo is not included!) If you'd like to give this table a new home (and hopefully restore it), let us know, and thank you for taking the time to read our listing.
